Seven minutes of summer, 2005, digital video, colour, sound, 7:00

Seven minutes of summer consists of a single fixed shot taken through a window on a rainy day for seven minutes in August. Pressed close to the window, the camera captures a rippling distortion.

The patterns created by the repetitive rainfall on the window pane create a hypnotic barrier between inside and outside, emphasizing the effects of physical location and season on perception.
